Hurteau, Lemieux pace Wildcats in final tuneup before America East Championships
NEW BRITAIN, Conn. – Sophomore Porter Hurteau (Milton, Vt.) clocked in at a team-best 15 minutes, 36.02 seconds to score 22 points (31st place), and sophomore Xavier Lemieux (Buxton, Maine) tallied 26 points (35th place) by virtue of his time of 15:45.72 to lead the UNH men's cross country team to Friday afternoon's fifth-place finish in the CCSU Mini Meet held at Stanley Quarter Park.
The Wildcats totaled 137 points to place behind host and race-winner CCSU (36 points). UMass Lowell scored 55 points to edge Stony Brook (56), with Merrimack taking fourth place (74).
