Senior goalie Mike Robinson (Bedford, N.H.) was outstanding in net as he made 32 saves on Saturday evening when the University of New Hampshire men's hockey team defeated No. 8 and defending national champion UMass, 2-1, at the Whittemore Center.
Robinson kept the Minutemen scoreless until the final seconds of regulation, then managed to hold them off long enough in the over-time period for the Wildcats to score the game-winning goal.
The Wildcats return to action when they play at No. 16 Harvard on Friday, Nov. 26 at 7 p.m. on ESPN+. Then UNH will return to the Whittemore Center to take on Holy Cross on Saturday, Nov. 27 at 7 p.m. presented by EnviroVantage on College SportsLive.
