Faith Bonett, a redshirt freshman from Moorestown, N.J., recorded her first career double-double in her first career start Jan. 2 at UMass Lowell. The 6-foot forward finished the game with 11 points and 10 rebounds, both of which are career highs. She made 4 of 5 field goal attempts and went 3-for-4 at the foul line in 25 minutes (also a career high).
Faith was also in the starting lineup the next game against the University of Hartford and helped lead the Wildcats to a 72-71 win with an eight-point, six-rebound effort in 25 minutes. She made her first career 3-pointer in that win vs. Hartford.
In two games last week, Faith averaged 9.5 ppg and 8.0 rpg.
