Demetri Butts joined UNH athletics as a Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach in the beginning of the 2025-26 season.
Butts programs year-round training plans for Women’s Gymnastics and Field Hockey. He also assists with Men’s and Women’s Ice Hockey and Football.
Before coming to UNH, Butts interned at Penn State University, working predominantly with Men’s and Women’s Ice Hockey, and Yale University, working predominantly with Football.
Butts is currently pursuing his Master’s in Exercise and Sports Science with a concentration in strength and conditioning at Merrimack College. He received his B.S. in Kinesiology from Penn State University in May 2025.
Demetri Butts is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as well as a USA Weightlifting Level 1 coach (USAW-L1) and is CPR and First Aid certified.
