Freshman goalkeeper has played in MLS NEXT for four seasons
DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire men's soccer program has announced the signing of freshman goalkeeper Sean Cory (Wrentham, Mass.).
"As a local incoming freshman goalkeeper, Sean brings pride, determination and a strong connection to the community surrounding our program," said head coach Rich Weinrebe. "He has shown a consistent commitment to his development and a willingness to embrace the demands of the position every day. Sean's presence, resilience and competitive mentality make him an exciting addition to our incoming class, and we're proud to keep talented local players within our program. We look forward to seeing his continued growth and the impact he will make both on and off the field."
Cory has played in MLS NEXT for four seasons. He was a member of New England Futbol Club during the 2025-26 season, played for IFA New England in 2024-25, while from 2022-2024 he was a member of the New England Revolution Academy.
Cory graduated from the Center of Excellence in 2026.
