Kahlert tabbed Hockey East Defender of the Week

AMESBURY, Mass. — University of New Hampshire freshman defenseman Aurora Kahlert (Maple Ridge, British Columbia) was named Army ROTC Hockey East Defender of the Week on Monday, Oct. 13.
Kahlert was a key contributor for the Wildcats in their two-game series with Union College, logging an assist on the lone goal in the 'Cats 1-1 tie with the Garnet Chargers on Friday (Oct. 10) before netting an empty net goal from the defensive zone in UNH's 3-1 win on Saturday (Oct. 11), finishing the weekend with two points and extending her point streak (2-1-3) to three games.
Kahlert logged a team-high +4 rating over the weekend, skating during each goal scored by the Wildcats, and finished with five blocks.

UNH returns home on Saturday, Oct. 18 as the 'Cats host their annual 'Stick it to Stigma' game against Harvard University (0-0-0, 0-0-0 ECAC) at the Whittemore Center at Key Auto Group Complex with a 2pm puck drop.
