Wildcats Name Nordic Ski Captains

Barker, a two-time NCAA Championships qualifier, earned Second Team All-East honors in 2024 with a 10th-place overall ranking, including sixth in the classic and 13th in the freestyle. She secured her first career win in the 5K freestyle relay at the Williams Carnival and finished second in the 15K classic at the Dartmouth Carnival. Barker also posted top-10 finishes in both the 7.5K freestyle and 20K classic at the NCAA East Regional/EISA Championships. She is a member of the National Collegiate All-Academic Ski Team.
Lyons, a two-time captain, is a four-time All-American and has competed in three NCAA Championships. She earned First Team All-America honors with second and third-place finishes in the 5K and 15K freestyle in 2023 and Second Team All-America honors with sixth in the 20K classic in 2023 and eighth in the 5K classic in 2022. Lyons has also been named to the National Collegiate All-Academic Ski Team three times and the Academic All-District Team twice.
Wyatt, a two-time captain, has competed in two NCAA Championships and won the 10K skate in his collegiate debut at the EISA Nordic Carnival. He was also named to the National Collegiate All-Academic Ski Team three times and was inducted into the National College Athlete Honor Society in 2023.
Anderson posted a career-best fourth-place finish in the 15K classic at the Harvard Carnival in 2024 and recorded top-10 finishes in the 20K classic at the Colby Carnival (eighth) and the 10K classic at the Williams Carnival (sixth). He placed 15th in the 20K classic at the NCAA Championships and 14th at the EISA Championships. Anderson ranked 19th overall in the East in 2022 and is a multi-year member of the National Collegiate All-Academic Ski Team.
Gore earned his first NCAA Championships berth in 2024, placing 27th in the 20K classic. He posted his first top-10 finish in the 15K classic at the Harvard Carnival and recorded multiple top-20 finishes at the EISA Championships. Gore is also a member of the National Collegiate All-Academic Ski Team.
The Wildcats start the 2025 season at the Bates Carnival on Jan. 10-11 with Alpine events scheduled for Sunday River and Nordic competing at Rumford Nordic Center.
