Juodikis Named to CSC Academic All-District Women's At-Large Team

GREENWOOD, Ind. – Kira Juodikis (LaSalle, Ontario), a junior forward and captain on the 2023-24 University of New Hampshire women's ice hockey team, has been named to the 2024 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Women's At-Large Team.
Juodikis, who has a near-perfect 3.96 cumulative GPA while pursuing a business administration: management degree, has made been named a Krampade All-American Scholar and to the Hockey East All-Academic Team every year.
Juodikis was a 2024 Hockey East Third Team All-Star who led the Wildcats in goals (15), power-play goals (five), points (25) and shots (97). She also tied atop UNH's leaderboard in shooting percentage (.159), tied for fifth in assists (10), and scored a pair of game-winning goals.
On the Hockey East leaderboard, she tied for first in power-play goals, tied for fifth in goals, ranked 12th in points and 13th in points per game.
Juodikis ended the regular season on a season-best four-game point streak with four goals and two assists for a total of six points – as well as a +4 rating – in that span. She tallied a point in 16 of 36 games with eight multiple-point efforts, including a high of three points (two goals, one assist) vs. Saint Michael's. In November, Juodikis recorded two points three consecutive games.
She scored a goal in 11 games with four two-goal efforts and netted both game-winning goals against Hockey East foes – Nov. 10 at Boston U. and Jan. 27 vs. Maine. Her other highlights included matching her career high of two assists Nov. 11 vs. BU.
Juodikis was named the Hockey East Player of the Week following her five-point opening weekend in which she scored twice against both St. Anselm and Saint Michael's.
The Academic All-District Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for combined performance in athletics and the classroom (must have a 3.50 or higher cumulative GPA). The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions.
The 12 sports included on the women's at-large ballot are: beach volleyball, bowling, crew/rowing, fencing, field hockey, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing and water polo.
