BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Junior Jill Walker (Simi Valley, Calif.) led the Wildcats with a 29th-place finish out of 351 as the University of New Hampshire women's cross country team competed in the Paul Short Run women's college 6K brown race. The team finished in 20th-place (484 points) on the Goodman Campus Cross Country Course. NYU (69 points) finished in first place, while Duquesne (161 points) was second and Lynchburg (173 points) was third.

The Wildcats will return to action at the New England Championships in Boston, Mass., on Saturday, Oct. 7.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

Walker finished with a time of 22:29.5 to lead the Wildcats.
Senior Lily Doody (Lee, N.H.) placed 39th with a time of 22:42.7
Senior Lizzie Martell (Essex Junction, Vt.) placed 64th with a time of 23:04.3.
