Jill Walker Leads Wildcats to First Paul Short Invitational Victory in Program History
BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Junior Jill Walker (Simi Valley, Calif.) led the Wildcats with a sixth-place finish out of 286 as the University of New Hampshire women's cross country team competed in the Paul Short Invitational Brown 6K race. The team finished in first place (103 points) out of 35 in the Goodman Campus Cross Country Course. This is the first time UNH has won the Paul Short Invitational in program history.

- The Wildcats will return to action at the New England Championships in Hopkinton, N.H. on Saturday, Oct. 12.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Five Wildcats finished in the top 50.
- Walker finished sixth with a time of 21:38.5
- Graduate Student Gabrielle DeAngelis (Bedford N.H.) finished at 21:49.9 to place 11th.
- Graduate Student Lily Doody (Lee, N.H.) finished 27th at 22:14.2.
- Senior Claire Ronan (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y.) finished in 28th place behind at 22:14.4.
- Freshman Bailey Hall (Yardley, Pa.) finished at 22:15.9 to place 31st.
