Four Wildcats Place Top 10
St. ALBANS, Vt.- The Wildcats are America East Champions!!!
RESULTS
Four Wildcats placed top 10 out of 83 racers as the University of New Hampshire women's cross country team competed in the America East Championships 5K race. The team finished in first place (52 points) out of eight at the Hard'ack Recreation Area. This marks as the third first-place finish for the 'Cats this season. (Paul Short Invitational, New England Championships)
"It was great they have really been working hard together all year in workouts and to see them work together today and finish as a pack that's really what we wanted to see them do," the Director of Cross Country and Track & Field Anna Magle Haberek said, "Just so much excitement, just tears and they knew how hard they worked to get here."

- The Wildcats will return to action on Friday, Nov. 15 when they travel to Hopkinton, N.H. for the NCAA Regionals.

- Six Wildcats finished in the top 25.
- Senior Claire Ronan (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y.) finished third at 17:26.62.
- Graduate Student Gabby DeAngelis (Bedford, N.H.) finished eighth at 17:46.85.
- Graduate Student Lily Doody (Lee, N.H.) finished ninth at 17:47.48.
- Senior Jill Walker (Simi Valley, Calif.) finished 10th at 17:47.86.
- Freshman Bailey Hall (Yardley, Pa.) finished 22nd at 18:15.29.
- Freshman Ruth White (Orono, Maine) finished 24th at 18:17.29.
