'Cats Finish Strong at New England Championships

BOSTON, Mass. – The University of New Hampshire women's cross country team raced in the New England Championships. The team finished in fourth place (132 points) with an average time of 19.19 in the 5K race. Northeastern placed first (34 points), Dartmouth placed second (49 points) and Rhode Island placed third (119 points).

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Junior Jill Walker (Simi Valley, Calif.) led the 'Cats, finishing in seventh place overall with a time of 18:38.6.
- Senior Lily Doody (Lee, N.H.) finished 11th overall with a time of 18:54.7.
