Michaella Conery & Lauren Dean Named to America East All-Academic Team

Conery and Dean earn honor for the first time.
BOSTON – Graduate student Michaella Conery (Concord, N.H.) and junior Lauren Dean (Gilmanton Iron Works, N.H.) of the University of New Hampshire women's cross country team have been named to the America East All-Academic Team.
Conery, who is a two-time inductee of the National College Athlete Honor Society, had a 3.86 undergraduate GPA as an English major and has a 3.87 graduate GPA as she is pursuing an MBA. She earned the 2020 America East Presidential Scholar-Athlete Award and is a member of the America East Commissioner's Honor Roll. Conery placed 27th at the 2021 America East Championships and was 28th at 2019 America East Championships.
Dean has a 3.85 GPA as a Nursing major and is a member of the America East Commissioner's Honor Roll. She was the top finisher for UNH at the 2021 America East Championships as she placed eighth to earn second team All-Conference accolades. Dean was also a member of the 2019 America East second team with a ninth-place finish at the America East Championships.
