Wildcats place 27th in women's 6K at Hopkinton State Fairgrounds

HOPKINTON, N.H. – Graduate student captain Claire Ronan (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y.) registered a team-leading 76^th place finish in Friday afternoon's 6K at the Hopkinton State Fairgrounds, and the UNH women's cross country team placed 27^th in the 2025 NCAA Northeast Regional Championships, hosted by Boston College.

Ronan posted a time of 21 minutes, 17.2 seconds for 76 points. Junior Ella Malone (Portsmouth, N.H.) crossed the finish line in 21:59.5 (137^th place, 135 points), senior Delaney Hesler (Steep Falls, Maine) clocked in at 22:26.3 (167 points). Individual leaders are listed below:

Boston College won the race with 60 points, followed by Providence (71). Both teams qualify for the NCAA Championships in Columbia, Mo., on Nov. 22.
