UNH has a 33-8 lifetime record against the University of Vermont and the Wildcats have won each of the past four meetings, including 20-14 at UVM's Virtue Field on April 20, 2019.
In that matchups, the Catamounts struck first but UNH scored the next five goals and led 11-3 at halftime. UVM closed within 16-13 with 10:47 remaining, but the Wildcats responded with four goals in as many minutes (spanning 6:48 to 2:34) to pull away.
The series is even, 5-5, the past 10 games.
UVM won five consecutive meetings spanning the 2011-15 season. The Catamounts most recent win capped off that streak on April 25, 2015 (12-10 at Virtue Field).
Prior to 2020, when the teams did not play because of the COVID-abbreviated season, UNH and Vermont played 37 consecutive years spanning the 1983-2019 seasons.

THE STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

UNH is led by ninth-year head coach Sarah Albrecht, who was named America East Coach of the Year in 2019, when the Wildcats finished 10-7 overall and 5-2 in America East.
New Hampshire has a 1-2 overall record that includes 0-1 in America East following last Saturday's 13-12 overtime loss at UAlbany.
The Wildcats went 1-1 on opening weekend with a 20-9 win vs. Merrimack College at Wildcat Stadium (Feb. 26) and a 19-3 loss at UConn (Feb. 28).
UNH is 0-2 on the road this season and went 0-2 in 2020 away games. The Wildcats' most recent road win was April 20, 2019 (20-14 at Vermont).
UNH is averaging 11.50 goals on 27.0 shots per game in comparison to the opponents' 13.48 goals and 29.3 shots per game. Both overall ground balls (55-52 in favor of UNH) and turnovers (40-43 in favor of the opponents) are relatively even; the opposition is averaging 4.3 more ground balls per game.

ANOTHER GAME, ANOTHER POINT

Two Wildcats have recorded at least one point in all three games this season.
Senior Sabrina Grovom has scored two goals every game and, dating back to the 2020 season, has a five-game goal-scoring streak with eight goals in that span.
Grad student Rylee Leonard recorded a season-high four points (3g, 1a) last Sunday at UAlbany and has tallied a point in 19 consecutive games; she redshirted last season and finished the 2019 season with a point each of the last 16 games; the last game played in which Leonard did not record a point was Feb. 16, 2019 vs. Harvard.
Leonard has tallied 35 goals and 28 assists for 63 points (3.32 points/game) during the 19-game point streak.
