* New Hampshire has a 13-26 lifetime record against intrastate rival Dartmouth College.
* The Big Green has won seven consecutive meetings and 22 of the last 23 matchups dating back to the 1992 season.
* These programs did not face off last year. Dartmouth prevailed 13-3 on its home field in 2018.
* UNH's most recent win was 9-8 at home Feb. 27, 2010.
* The last time the 'Cats won in Hanover was April 2, 1991 (9-4)

* UNH is led by eighth-year head coach Sarah Albrecht, who was named 2019 America East Coach of the Year.
* New Hampshire has 24 student-athletes on the 2020 roster with a breakdown of 18 returning letterwinners (seven starters), one transfer and five freshmen.
* The Wildcats are 1-3 overall that includes 0-1 on the road.
* UNH is averaging 10.77 goals and 28.5 shots per game, while the opponents average 13.50 goals and 28.0 shots.
* The 'Cats scored eight goals in consecutive games against Iona and UConn, then finished with nine goals in the most recent game vs. Fairfield.
* Senior midfielders Rylee Leonard and Michele Smith captain this year's squad. Leonard led last year's team in both assists (22) and points (55); she ranked third – is the top returner – in goals with 33; she also tied for third in draw controls and tallied double digits in ground balls. Smith started all 14 games in which she played and tallied 14 points (6g, 8a).

* Julia Neyland (8g, 2a) and Elizabeth Blanding (8g, 2a) are tied for first in points with 10. Emily Curtis (9g) is next with nine.
* Katie Taranto is atop the assist leaderboard with three. Blanding and Neyland have two apiece.
* Three Wildcats have reached double digits in ground balls: Taylor Dudek (12), Caroline Hernon (11) and Meghan Doyle (10).
* Hernon is also atop the list of caused turnovers with nine. Michele Smith is next at six.
* Neyland and Hernon rank 1-2 in draw controls with 13 and nine, respectively. Delaney Pratt is next with eight; she had five last weekend vs. Fairfield.

* Senior goalie Amanda Gottlieb made her first collegiate start vs. UConn. She finished with three saves and six goals allowed in 18 minutes, 30 seconds.
* In three games (one start) this season, Gottlieb has a 1-2 record with a 10.77 GAA and .478 save percentage in 66 minutes, 51 seconds.
* Sophomore goalie Issy Torres, who started all 17 games last year and the first two games of 2020, has a 14.55 GAA and .344 save percentage in 173:09; she's played all four games with three starts; she made a season-high eight saves -- and also had a season-high four ground balls -- vs. Fairfield.

* Fairfield recorded a 15-9 victory last Sunday at Wildcat Stadium (UNH's first home game at the stadium this season).
* Despite the score, the stats were relatively even. Fairfield held the edge in shots (30-29), shots on goal (23-21) and ground balls (21-19). Draw controls were even at 13 and UNH committed fewer turnovers (15-18).
Consistent Offense
* Four Wildcats carry a three-game point streak into Sunday's game.
* Julia Neyland recorded multiple points each of the first three games and extended her goal streak to four games with one tally vs. Fairfield. She has totals of eight goals and two assists for 10 points. She recorded five points (4g, 1a) in the season opener vs. Merrimack.
* Emily Curtis has a four-game goal-scoring streak and recorded multiple goals each of the first two games. She tallied a career-high five goals for a personal best of five points against Merrimack. Curtis has nine points on nine goals.
* Elizabeth Blanding has three multiple point efforts and a four-game goal streak with totals of eight goals and two assists for 10 points. She matched her career high of four goals last Sunday vs. Fairfield.
* Katie Taranto tallied an assist each of the first two games, scored a pair of goals – her first career goals – vs. UConn, and pushed her point streak to four games with an assist vs. Fairfield.
Free & Clear
* New Hampshire has been strong on clear attempts this year with 57 successful clears on 72 attempts for a .792 percentage.
* The opposition is 57-for-76 on clear attempts for a .750 percentage.
* The opponents have the edge on free positions, however. They have scored 16 goals on 29 free-position shots (55.2%) in comparison to UNH's 6-for-22 (27.3%).
Getting Possession
* Opponents have recorded the advantage in draw controls 3 of 4 games: 14-12 by Merrimack; 11-7 by Iona; and 17-13 by UConn. The draws were even, 13-13, against Fairfield.
* The team with the edge in ground balls has won all three games: 21-17 by UNH vs. Merrimack; 19-18 by Iona; 23-14 by UConn; and 21-19 by Fairfield.

* There are five Granite State natives on New Hampshire's roster, and that includes two Wildcats from Amherst: sophomores Taylor Dudek and Abby Cranney.

*UNH was selected third in the 2020 America East Coaches' Preseason Poll. The Wildcats received 35 points to place behind Stony Brook (49) and UAlbany (41). New Hampshire was followed by UMBC (28), Vermont (26), Binghamton (19), UMass Lowell (18) and Hartford (7).
A Lot to Lose
* UNH lost four of its top five point producers to graduation. The quartet of Catherine Sexton (28-20-48), Devan Miller (40-7-47), Mickenzie Larivee (35-7-42) and Teagan Northrup (13-8-21) combined for 116 goals, 42 assists and 158 points.
* To put that in perspective, the team totals were 216-92-308.

* Dartmouth College (Hanover, N.H.) entered the week at No. 15 in the national polls and then recorded a 13-9 home win against fifth-ranked Florida on Tuesday.
* The Big Green opened the 2020 season with a 15-11 win at #13 UMass. That was followed by a 16-8 home win vs. Boston University and 12-11 victory at Brown.
* DC is averaging 14.00 goals and 28.8 shots per game; in comparison, the opponents are at 9.75 goals and 23.3 shots per game.
* Katie Bourque leads the team in goals (15) and points (20).
* Ellie Carson (14g, 1a) and Sophia Turchetta (11g, 2a) have also reached double digits in points.
* Tori Chanenchuk has a team-high seven assists... and one goal for eight points.
* Kiera Vrindten has played all 241 minutes, 24 seconds. She is 4-0 with a 9.69 GAA and .435 save percentage.
