FIRST PERIOD SUMMARY
· UNH recorded a 12-8 shot advantage but BC led 3-1 through 20 minutes.
· Boutilier made a big stop to keep the game scoreless at 7:36 when Hannah Bilka raced past a UNH defender in the right circle and skated to the slot.
· Savannah Norcross redirected Kelly Browne's centering pass into the cage to give BC a 1-0 lead at 9:48.
· Jillian Fey scored 53 seconds later when she accelerated from the left point to the slot, shifted the puck across the top of the crease and slipped the puck inside the right post.
· Thiérus lifted UNH within 2-1 at 15:23. Thiérus entered the offensive zone at the left point and advanced through the circle. She turned and it appeared as if she was going to drop the puck back to the oncoming Ciara Wall, but instead Thiérus spun around and flipped a backhander to the net that ricocheted off Pickreign's left skate into the cage.
· Brianna Brooks (Whitby, Ontario) skated down the slot and shifted to her backhand but was denied by Pickreign at 15:59.
· UNH went on the power play at 17:20. Moments later, Lauren Martin's shot from the right wing was stopped by Pickreign, who quickly slid to the top of the crease to also block aside the chance by Charli Kettyle (Perth, Ontario).

· The Wildcats went back on the power play at 6:32. Emily Rickwood (Brantford, Ontario) advanced down the slot and maneuvered toward the left circle. She slipped the puck back to the slot, where Brook's one-timer was gloved by Pickreign.
· BC went on its first power play of the game at 8:56 and Boutilier made one save on UNH's penalty kill to keep the 'Cats within 3-1.
· New Hampshire went on its third power play at 15:27, and one minute later Rickwood collected the loose puck at center ice and advanced with speed down the slot, but she was denied.
