Callista Printz Tabbed Hockey East Defender of the Week

Printz posted a career-high four points in the Wildcats’ HEA Quarterfinal Round loss to Holy Cross.
AMESBURY, Mass. — University of New Hampshire sophomore defenseman Callista Printz (Buffalo, N.Y.) was named Hockey East Army ROTC Defender of the Week on Monday (March 2).
Printz had a career day in the Wildcats' 5-4 Hockey East Quarterfinal Round loss to Holy Cross (Feb. 28), logging three assists and a goal for her first-career multipoint game, while setting career-highs for points in a game and assists in a game. Additionally, Printz finished the game with a plus-two rating and one blocked shot.
The nomination marks Printz's second-career weekly award, previously taking home Defender of the Week on Nov. 25, 2024 during her freshman campaign.
