- Harvard University scored seven consecutive goals spanning 23 minutes in the second half to record a 14-5 victory vs. UNH last Saturday at Jordan Field.
- The Crimson built a 6-1 lead at 12:06 of the first half, but New Hampshire closed within 7-3 and struck first in the second half to trim the deficit to 7-4.
- Harvard answered 16 seconds later, however, and gradually pulled away.
- UNH recorded the statistical edge in shots (33-28), ground balls (28-19) and draw controls (13-8). Turnovers were even at 17.
- Anna Vogt scored three goals to match her career high that she established in the season opener vs. Sacred Heart.
- Carly Wooters did not record a goal or assist, which ended her point streak at 13 games; she recorded a game-high 10 shots (six on goal).

- Here's the short and tall of it: four attackers are either 5-foot-2/5-3 and the other three are 5-11/6-1.
- Senior Krissy Schafer (5-2) is the top returning goal scorer and point producer; she tied for the team lead in goals (30) and tied for second in points (32). Schafer was a highly-accurate shooter with a .791 shots on goal percentage and .448 shooting percentage.
- Classmate Teagan Northrup, the tallest Wildcat at 6-1, is the next leading point producer among the seven attackers. She tallied five goals and four assists for nine points.
- UNH added a pair of 5-11 attackers – from opposite coasts – in Haley Bridgeman (Wolfeboro, N.H.) and Sabrina Grovom (San Marcos, Calif.).

- Senior Carly Wooters leads a group of 10 midfielders. Wooters recorded a team-high nine assists last year and tied for second in points (32); she ranked third in goals (23). In other stats, Wooters was No. 1 in draw controls and shots (100 of the team's 419), and No. 4 in ground balls.
- UNH welcomes back senior Devan Miller, who was sidelined by injury the last 12 games of the 2017 season. Miller recorded eight goals and seven assists for 15 points in just five games; those stats ranked third in assists and fifth in points.
- Four of UNH's six newcomers will patrol the midfield. They are Tatum Benesh, Elizabeth Blanding, Gabby Masseur and Julia Neyland.

- Senior captain Lizzie Suschana and classmate Cat Sennott anchor a defensive unit comprised of just five Wildcats.
- Sennott led last year's squad in both ground balls (34) and caused turnovers (17). She recorded multiple ground balls in 12 of 17 games and was credited with multiple CTOs five times.
- Suschana ranked fifth in both ground balls (21) and draw controls.
- The other three 'Cats are veterans, but with little game experience. Senior Maddie Maurer, sidelined by injury last year, has played in seven career games. Junior Elise Chandler played in one game each of her first two years, and classmate Jessica Lee has not made her collegiate debut.

- Senior goalkeeper Kate Clancy has started all 40 games the past three years and no other goalie saw action in 2017. She recorded double-digit saves five times last year, and that included a personal best of 19 in the opener vs. Harvard. Also of note, Clancy ranked second on the team in ground balls with 30.
- In two games this season, Clancy has stopped 9 of 22 shots on goal for a .409 save percentage; she also has a 1-1 record and 7.32 GAA.
- Sophomore Amanda Gottlieb made her collegiate debut last Saturday at Harvard when she entered the second half with 13:29 remaining. She made one save and surrendered three goals for a 13.35 GAA and .250 save percentage.

- Dartmouth enters Wednesday's intrastate matchup vs. UNH with an 0-1 record following this past Saturday's 17-13 loss at 18th-ranked UMass.
- The Big Green, led by second-year head coach Danielle Spencer, was picked fifth in the Ivy League preseason poll.
- DC has 25 returning letterwinners on its 34-player roster.
- Elizabeth Mastrio is the top returner in both goals (28) and points (39). She scored six goals for six points vs. UMass.
- Kierra Sweeney was last year's top playmaker with 14 assists.
- Kathryn Giroux broke the school and Ivy League records with 108 draw controls. It was Claire Marshall, however, who had a game-high 11 DCs at UMass.
- Kiera Vrindten stopped 11 of 28 shots on goal in the opener (.393 save percentage). She started 14 games last year as a freshman and went 6-8 with a 12.87 GAA and .466 save percentage.
