Murphy’s Three Points Leads Four Scorers in Conference Win Over UMBC

DURHAM, N.H. – Junior Brooke Murphy (Monson, Mass.) led four University of New Hampshire women's soccer team scorers to a 4-0 win over America East rival University of Maryland, Baltimore County to open conference play Sunday at Bremner Field.

Murphy scored just two minutes into the game with a nice far-side score bottom right past the keepers reach for her seventh goal of the season. Lane earned her second on the year in the 10th minute on a through ball from Murphy. She placed the shot low far side for a quick 2-0 Wildcat lead.
-2nd Half-
In the second frame, Griffin buried her first career goal in the 53rd minute on a beauty. She took the strike from deep on the right side that ricocheted off the post and in for a 3-0 lead. Davis put the nail in the coffin at 61:05 on a wide-open tap in after Hardy stepped around the keeper for a cross in the middle.
