DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire women's soccer team takes on Northeast rival University of Maine on Sunday, October 16 (1 pm) at Mahaney Diamond.
New Hampshire (6-5-3, 3-1-1 AE)
Last time out: New Hampshire fell to defending America East Champion University at Albany by a score of 2-1 in overtime on Thursday night. Sophomore Sydney Griffin (Hinsdale, Ill.) scored her second goal of the season, but the Great Danes were able to complete the comeback effort. The Wildcats tallied 16 shots and totaled five corner kicks, but it was not enough. Senior goalkeeper Mimi Borkan (Medfield, Mass.) recorded eight saves in the loss.
Who to look for: Junior Brooke Murphy (Monson, Mass.) leads the Wildcats, and all America East players, with 21 points (nine goals, three assists). Borkan leads the league with 6.07 saves per game and holds a .842 save percentage, third in the league. With Griffin's goal on Thursday, five different Wildcats now have two goals apiece.

Last time out: The Black Bears dropped their fourth straight game on Thursday night when they fell 2-0 at Stony Brook University. Maine only recorded seven shots, with two on goal, in the loss. Sophomore Samantha Cobotic registered three saves in net.
Who to look for: Offensively, Kaitlyn Ball and Theresa Gosch lead Maine with six points apiece (two goals, two assists). Anetra Byfield and Kate Evans, who have both started all 13 of Maine's games, each have two goals as well. Last year's America East Rookie of the Year Vivien Beil has a goal and two assists from the midfield. In goal, Cobotic has started all six conference games for the Black Bears. She holds a 1.50 goals against average and a save percentage of 0.757.
