Senior goalie and captain Ava Boutilier (Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island) had a total of 34 saves for a .919 save percentage in the Wildcats 3-2 loss vs #10 Harvard on Nov. 23.
In their first matchup against Union on Nov. 26, Boutilier recorded 17 saves for her first shutout of the season and the 13th of her career. She was also credited with an assist, the third of her career, in UNH’s 7-0 victory.
The following day she recorded 26 saves, including 10 in the second period in the Wildcats 4-1 victory over the Bulldogs.
Her total saves in the past week added up to be 74 for 77 making for an excellent .961 save percentage.
New Hampshire begins a four-game homestand at the Whittemore Center with a two-game series against the University of Vermont on Dec. 3-4.
