Kennedi Smith, a sophomore outside hitter from The Woodlands, Texas, recorded her third consecutive double-double with a career-high 21 kills and 10 digs in the UNH volleyball team's 3-2 comeback victory at UMass Lowell last Friday.
Kennedi, who has a team-high six double-doubles this season, tallied those 21 kills on the strength of a .269 attack percentage.
With UNH trailing 2-1 in sets and 19-18 in Set 4, one of Kennedi's kills gave the Wildcats a 20-19 lead they did not relinquish to force a decisive fifth set.
In Set 5, Kennedi recorded three kills, including one that gave the ‘Cats a 14-8 advantage.
