Catherine Sexton, a senior from Niskayuna, New York, recorded six goals and four assists for 10 points in two games last week. She was UNH’s leader in all three of those stats. She scored those six goals on seven shots for a .857 shooting percentage, and that includes a perfect 2-for-2 on free-position shots. Also of note, she committed just one turnover.
Cathrine recorded career highs in both goals (five) and points (seven) in UNH’s 16-4 win at CCSU. With UNH leading 4-1, she factored in three consecutive goals (goals at 17:24 and 14:13 sandwiched around an assist at 15:06) to push the advantage to six goals. In the second half, Catherine once again factored in three consecutive goals to extend the lead to double digits, 14-3.
Catherine tallied three points (1g, 2a) in the 14-11 loss at Fairfield.
Catherine leads the team in goals (12), assists )seven) and points 19).
Catherine and the Wildcats are through four games of their six-game road trip; they play Kennesaw State (Ga.) next Sunday, March 10 at 1 P.M.
