Three Members of Women’s Soccer Earn All-New England Honors

Maier was selected to the second team, while Kolb and Walker made the third team
BOSTON - Senior midfielder Abbi Maier (Cincinnati, Ohio), senior back and captain Maddie Kolb (Tolland, Conn.) and graduate student forward Ricshya Walker (Philadelphia, Pa.) of the University of New Hampshire women's soccer team earned All-New England accolades as announced by NEWISA. Maier was named to the second team, while Kolb and Walker made the third team.
This past season, Maier was selected to the United Soccer Coaches Division I All-Atlantic Region Third Team and to the All-ECAC Second Team. She was selected to play in the 2025 New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association (NEWISA) Senior Bowl. Maier was the 2025 America East Co-Midfielder of the Year and was named to the America East All-Conference First Team. She led the team with a career-best six goals and 14 points as she also added two assists. Maier tied for fifth in the conference in goals and tied for sixth in points.
This is the second time Kolb has been named to the All-New England team as she was selected to the second team in 2024. In 2025 she earned her second straight All-Conference selection as she was named to the First Team in 2024. The 2024 America East Defender of the Year, Kolb had another outstanding season as the anchor of the defense as she started in all 17 games and was a strong leader as the captain of the team. As a freshman in 2022 she was picked to the All-Rookie Team and was a member of the 2024 United Soccer Coaches Division I All-Atlantic Region Third Team.
Walker played in 16 games with 14 starts this past season. She ranked second on team in goals (5) and points (13), and tied for second in assists (3). Walker was ninth in the America East in goals and tied for eighth in points. She won the Service Credit Union Student-Athlete of the Week twice this season. Walker is also a member of the Jamaican National Team.
