Hannah Goodwin joined the UNH women’s lacrosse program as an assistant coach in October 2024.
Goodwin comes to UNH from Bates College, where she was an assistant coach for one season (Aug. 2023 to Oct. 2024). Her responsibilities included working with the defensive unit and goalkeepers, individual skill development sessions, creating defensive scouting reports, and implementing defensive strategies.
As a grad assistant coach at Merrimack College from Sept. 2022 to May 2023, Goodwin worked specifically with the goalkeepers while earning a master’s degree in Communication. Her other duties included creating and implementing practice plans and running individual sessions.
Goodwin’s other coaching experience includes HGR Lacrosse, where she has worked since June 2022.
Goodwin was a four-year letterwinner and two-year starting goalkeeper at Roger Williams University, where she graduated with a B.S. in Marketing in May 2022. As a senior captain in 2022, she led the team to an undefeated conference record for the second consecutive season and to a school-record 14 regular-season wins en route to successfully defending its Commonwealth Coast Conference championship title. In 2021, she backstopped the Hawks to their first ever NCAA tournament win.
