Kacie Lewis Steps Down as Women's Lacrosse Head Coach

DURHAM, N.H.---UNH Director of Athletics Allison Rich announced Wednesday that Kacie Lewis, women's lacrosse head coach, has stepped down from her position to pursue other opportunities.

"I want to thank Kacie for her efforts in leading the Wildcat program the last three seasons and wish her all the best moving forward," said Rich. Â

Lewis compiled a record of 14-30 in her three seasons, which included a berth in the America East tournament in 2023. The lacrosse program earned a perfect 100 in the most recent NCAA Graduation Success Rate rankings that were announced in December.

During Lewis' tenure, midfielder Mackenzie MacEachern (Bedford, N.H.) received America East All-Conference Second-Team honors three straight years while graduate student defender Ava Schroeder (Niskayuna, N.Y.) and junior goalkeeper Maria Hagan (Downers Grove, Ill.) each garnered conference All-Academic Team recognition for two consecutive years.

A national search will begin immediately for the Wildcats' next head coach. Â
