Seven Wildcats earn perfect 4.0 GPA
BOSTON – The University of New Hampshire women's soccer team placed 25 student-athletes on the 2022-23 America East Academic Honor Roll. Twenty players earned Commissioner's Honor Roll recognition and five made the Honor Roll.
Commissioner's Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes who recorded a grade point average of 3.50 or higher in the Fall 2022 semester. Student-athletes with a GPA between 3.0 and 3.49 are named to the Honor Roll. Overall, 86 percent of the team received one of the academic honors, one percent higher than the previous academic year.
Seven Wildcats recorded a perfect 4.0 GPA last fall; those highly distinguished Wildcats are Ande Allison (Carlisle, Ohio), Emily Bini (Guilderland, N.Y.), Ashley Buchheit (Downington, Pa.), Cassie Jones (Beverly, Mass.), Abbi Maier (Cincinnati, Ohio), Sally Rainey (West Lebanon, N.H.) and Whitney Wiley (Vienna, Va.).
They were joined on the Commissioner's Honor Roll by Grace Burcaw (Nazareth, Pa.), Delaney Diltz (San Diego, Calif.), Ella Dudley (St. Augustine, Fla.), Elaina Grenz (River Edge, N.J.), Gudrun Haralz (Kópavogur, Iceland), Anna Hewlett (Webster, N.Y.), Rachel Hollywood (Mullica, N.J.), Alivia Kelly (Pembroke, Mass.), Keegan Mayer (Summit, N.J.), Mary Muller (Westmoreland, N.Y.), Shayna Salis (Bedford, N.H.), Cat Sheppard (Nesconset, N.Y.) and Maddy Warren (West Covina, Calif.).
Meghan Guarente (Sewell, N.J.), Lily Johnson (Wyckoff, N.J.) Logan Nicholson (St. Augustine, Fla.), Brooke Samborski (Chicopee, Mass.) and Beth Winnor (Hidden Valley, Pa.) were named to the Honor Roll.
UNH won the 2022 America East Championship and recorded a 3.6 team GPA in the Fall 2022 semester. The Wildcats followed that with a 3.64 team GPA in the spring semester. Jones was awarded the Elite 18 Award for having the highest GPA among student-athletes competing in the championship game.

Of that group, 52 percent of student-athletes and 1,797 in total earned Commissioner's Honor Roll status for registering a GPA of 3.5 or better. Overall, 2,694 America East student-athletes earned Academic Honor Roll in 2022-23.
