UNH Outshoots UConn in 4-0 Road Loss

STORRS, Conn. – The University of New Hampshire women's hockey team recorded a 26-24 shot advantage but was defeated 4-0 by UConn at Toscano Family Ice Forum on Saturday.
Freshman goaltender Sedona Blair (Eden Prairie, Minn.) made eight saves in the first period, followed by three in the second and nine in the third. UConn counterpart Megan Warrener stopped 26 shots to record the first shutout of the Wildcats this season.
Jada Habisch was the only skater to record multiple points with a goal and an assist.
UNH moves to 4-3-1 overall and 2-1-1 in Hockey East, while UConn is now 2-3-1, 1-3-0.
