Lyons, Sanderberg, Schulz, Solbakken Named Team MVPs
Team MVPs Marius Solbakken, Fanny Sanderberg and Scott Schulz
The Nordic team had repeat MVPs with sophomore Jasmine Lyons (Ottawa, Ontario) for the women's team and junior Scott Schulz (Lake Placid, N.Y.) for the men's team. The alpine MVPs featured back-to-back recipient, junior Marius Solbakken (Bekkestua, Norway), on the men's side and senior Fanny Sanderberg (Oslo, Norway) on the women's side.
The Wildcats celebrated their four 2022 NCAA All-Americans, which included Lyons' First Team performance in the 15K freestyle and her Second Team honors in the 5K classic. Graduate student men's alpine skier Bastian Meisen (Munich, Germany) collected All-American Second Team in giant slalom, and freshman women's alpine skier Zoe Michael(Sydney, Australia) recorded All-American Second Team in slalom.
In total, UNH sent 11 skiers to NCAAs at Park Mountain Resort (alpine) and Soldier Hollow (Nordic) in Utah. Lyons was joined on the women's Nordic team by freshman Lisa Nystedt (Stockholm, Sweden) and junior Luci Anderson (Golden Valley, Minn.). Schulz, freshman Roger Anderson (Golden Valley, Minn.) and sophomore Seth Wyatt (Bozeman, Mont.) represented the men's Nordic Team. Meisen and Solbakken were joined by graduate student Will Bruneau-Bouchard (Quebec City, Quebec) as men's alpine qualifiers, while Sanderberg and Michael raced for the women's team.

Corey McConville (London, Ontario) and Bruneau-Bouchard each was honored for competing a fifth season as a graduate student on the men's alpine team.
Riley Whitney was honored for serving as the alpine volunteer coach/starter coach.

Athletic Director Marty Scarano, who is retiring after 22 years in his position, was presented official UNH Wildcat skis by Friends of UNH Skiing Grover Daniels, Bill Young and Peter Middleton.
