Eight Skiers Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

GREENWOOD, Ind. — Eight members of the 2025-26 University of New Hampshire ski team were named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators All-District At-Large Team on Tuesday, including three athletes named to the Women's At-Large Team and five skiers named to the Men's At-Large Team.

The Academic All-District Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for combined performance in athletics and the classroom (3.50 or higher cumulative GPA). The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions.
The 13 sports included on the women's at-large ballot are: beach volleyball, bowling, crew/rowing, fencing, field hockey, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, water polo and wrestling. The 10 sports included on the men's at-large ballot are: fencing, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, rifle, skiing, volleyball, water polo, and wrestling.
Graduating with a 3.96 GPA in human development and family studies, Barker closed out her collegiate career with a pair of starts at the 2026 NCAA Skiing Championships, finishing 37th in the 7.5k classic race before earning All-American honors with an eighth-place finish in the 20k freestyle.
Additionally, the EISA All-East First Team member finished her carnival season with seven top-ten finishes, including six top-five finishes, and two podium appearances–her second-career second place finish in the women's freestyle 10k race at the Vermont Carnival (Feb. 7) and her third-place finish in the women's freestyle 15k race at the Williams Carnival (Feb. 13).
Overall, the four-time National Collegiate All-Academic Ski Team honoree finished fifth in the EISA NCAA women's Nordic rankings, earning 140 points in the freestyle and another 71 points in the classic, totaling 211 points on the season.
Graduating with a 3.75 GPA and master's degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing, Caloro finished our her graduate season with two starts at the 2026 NCAA Skiing Championships, finishing 18th in the giant slalom before earning All-American honors with a 10th-place finish in the slalom.
During the carnival season, the EISA All-East First Team member finished with nine top-ten finishes, including six top-five finishes, and three podium finishes. Overall, Caloro finished fifth in the EISA NCAA women's alpine rankings, netting 110 points in the giant slalom and another 120 points in the slalom, totaling 230 points on the season.
Closing out her senior year with a 3.75 GPA in business administration, Martelleur finished the season with a pair of starts at the 2026 NCAA Skiing Championships, logging a 13th-place finish in the giant slalom before earning All-American honors with a ninth-place result in the slalom.
The three-time National Collegiate All-Academic Ski Team member finished the carnival season with eight top-ten finishes, including four top-five performances and two podiums–her second-career third place finish in the women's giant slalom at the Williams Carnival (Feb. 13) before earning her first-ever second place finish in the women's slalom the following day.
Overall, Martelleur finished fourth in the EISA NCAA women's alpine rankings, earning 100 points in the giant slalom and 130 points in the slalom for a 230-point finish, good for her second-career EISA First Team All-East nod.
Ending his sophomore season with a 3.60 GPA in business administration, Buckrell followed up his championship-winning 2025 season with a pair of starts at the 2026 NCAA Skiing Championships, earning All-American honors with a 10th-place result in the giant slalom before finishing 17th in the slalom.
In carnival action, the two-time National Collegiate All-Academic Ski Team honoree closed out with 10 top-ten finishes, including seven top-five finishes, five podium appearances, and two first-place finishes–skiing a carnival-leading 1:27.11 in the slalom at the Colby Carnival (Jan. 16) and capturing the giant slalom in 2:09.65 the following day.
Overall, the two-time First Team All-East member led the Wildcats in the EISA NCAA men's alpine rankings, totaling 340 points with 160 points from the giant slalom and 180 points from the slalom, good for second-most across the conference this season.
Finishing the year with a 3.65 GPA in recreation management and policy, Grohusky ended the season with two starts at the 2026 NCAA Skiing Championships, finishing 28th in the 7.5k classic race before closing out in 30th in the 20k freestyle.
In carnival competition, Grohusky posted seven finishes in the top-20, including four top-10 results, while finishing 22nd in the EISA NCAA men's Nordic rankings, totaling 42 points in the freestyle and 55 points in the classic discipline for 97 points overall, the most among Wildcats last season.
Closing his sophomore campaign with a 3.90 GPA in recreation management and policy, Oldham ended the season with two starts at the 2026 NCAA Skiing Championships, placing 38th in the 7.5k classic race before finishing 40th in the 20k freestyle.
In carnival competition, Oldham landed three finishes in the top-10, highlighted by a season-best fourth-place result in the freestyle at the St. Lawrence Carnival. In the EISA NCAA men's Nordic rankings, Oldham finished 26th, totaling three points in the freestyle and 60 points in the classic discipline for 63 points overall.
Finishing out his sophomore season with a 3.75 GPA in business administration, Shycon closed out with appearances in all six carnivals, highlighted by a 25th-place finish in his final race of the season, a 52:59.3 result in the 20k freestyle at the Middlebury Carnival. Overall, Shycon finished 55th in the EISA NCAA men's Nordic rankings.
Graduating with a 3.69 GPA in business administration, Temertzoglou finished his collegiate career with starts across all six carnivals, totaling three top-20 results, including a season-best 16th-place finish in the slalom at the Middlebury Carnival. Overall, Temertzoglou finished 38th in the EISA NCAA men's Alpine rankings with 11 points in the giant slalom and 29 points in the slalom to total 40 points overall.
