Martelleur, Caloro Earn All-American Honors at NCAA Championships

Martelleur and Caloro each skied to their first NCAA Championship top-10 result.

PARK CITY, Utah — Senior Hedda Martelleur (Uppsala, Sweden) (46.22, 50.78; 1:37.00) and graduate student Benedetta Caloro (Rome, Italy) (46.36, 51.09; 1:37.45) skied to ninth-place and tenth-place finishes, respectively, each earning Second Team All-American honors to headline the University of New Hampshire's ski team's third day at the NCAA Championships.

On the men's side, the Wildcats finished in 10th place with 19 points while the women's squad closed out in third place with 55.5 points on the day. As a team, the Wildcats finished the third day in ninth place with 149.5 points.

The UNH ski team closes the NCAA Championships on Saturday, March 14, as the Nordic team competes in the 20k freestyle race at Soldier Hollow Nordic Center in Midway, Utah, with a 10:30am start time for the women and a 12:15pm start time for the men.
