Ski Finishes Vermont Carnival in Fourth

Three women's Nordic skiers placed in the top 10, including two podiums.

CRAFTSBURY, Vt. — Senior Hattie Barker (Underhill, Vt.) (29:54.0) and sophomore Natalie Nicholas (Bozeman, Mont.) (30:04.7) finished second and third, respectively, in the women's freestyle 10k race, headlining the University of New Hampshire's ski team's closing day at the Vermont Carnival.

Following the final day of Nordic competition, the women's team won the day, pacing competition with 126 points, while the men's team finished in eighth place with 47 points. Overall, the Wildcats closed out the Vermont Carnival in fourth place with 728 points, behind Vermont (846 points), Dartmouth (797.5 points), and Middlebury (795 points).
