Jayden Buckrell Earns All-American Honors at First Day of NCAA Championship

Buckrell paced the Wildcats with a 10th place result.

PARK CITY, Utah — Sophomore Jayden Buckrell (Collingwood, Ontario) (58.06, 58.63; 1:56.69) skied to a tenth-place result in the men's giant slalom, earning Second Team All-American honors to headline the University of New Hampshire's ski team's opening day at the NCAA Championship.

On the men's side, the Wildcats finished in fifth place with 41 points while the women's squad tied for seventh place with 31 points on the day. As a team, the Wildcats finished the first day in sixth place with 72 points.
