GAME RECAP
- The Terriers struck first 15:21 into the first period after a UNH shot rang off the post and a secondary save put the puck behind the net. The Terriers counterattacked with speed and were able to tally a goal off the stick of Compher for the 1-0 lead.
- The Wildcats were unable to equalize in the first, and Boston University took over in the second leading the shot total 25-15 after two periods.
- The Terriers kept the pressure on in the final frame allowing only two UNH shots on goal.
- New Hampshire pulled its goalie with 2:11 to go in regulation, and after a defensive stop the Terriers were able to get the puck to Sammy Davis who got free from the defense and tallied the empty-net goal.
