LAST TIME OUT
- New Hampshire went 1-1-0 to start the 2020 calendar year, losing game one to Penn State 3-0, but bouncing back to take game two, 2-1.
- Two rookie netminders set firsts in the weekend, with freshman Ava Thewes (Clarkston, Mich.) getting her first career start on Friday, and Nikki Harnett (Plymouth, Minn.) notching her first career win on Saturday.
- Saturday's victory saw power play goals from senior Meghara McManus (Milton, Mass.) and senior captain Tori Howran (Bancroft, Ontario), as the Wildcats went 2-5 on the power play. It was McManus' team-leading 11th goal of the season, and Howran's first career game-winning goal.

ABOUT UCONN
- The Huskies (Storrs, Conn.) are coming into the weekend winning three of their last four against Hockey East opponents, sweeping Holy Cross last weekend in a home-and-home series.
- With the four points, UConn leap-frogged over UNH for the fourth-place spot in the Hockey East standings. The winner of this weekend series will either confirm or reverse that jump.
- This will finish the regular season series between the two squads; New Hampshire took the first round of the three-game series in October, with a 2-0 victory in Storrs.
- All-time, UNH leads the series 47-14-5 overall and 23-6-3 at home. This season UNH has a 5-4-1 home record, which it will pit against UConn's perfect 8-0-0 road record.
