DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire women's basketball team, riding its first back-to-back road wins since 2018, return home after a Wednesday off to face the Binghamton Bearcats at Lundholm Gymnasium this Saturday, January 25 at 1 P.M.
The Wildcats finished a short two-game road trip last Saturday, January 18 with a 72-63 win at UMBC; Binghamton most recently played on Wednesday evening, hosting the first-place Stony Brook Seawolves in Vestal, N.Y. The Seawolves continued their unbeaten run, defeating the Bearcats 67-60.
NEXT HOME GAME:
The 'Cats go back on the road this coming Wednesday, January 29 facing Vermont at 11 A.M. on ESPN+, wrapping up the first half of conference play. UNH returns home the following Saturday, February 1 to host UMass Lowell at 12 P.M.

LAST TIME OUT:
Amanda Torres (Hudson, N.H.) recorded 16 points and a career-high eight assists to lead the University of New Hampshire women's basketball team to Saturday afternoon's 72-63 win against UMBC at the UMBC Event Center.
Torres was a perfect 8-for-8 from the foul line, including six in the final 65 seconds to help secure the victory. She also shot 50 percent (4-8) from the floor, had three rebounds and two steals. Ashley Storey (Cumberland, Maine) led four Wildcat double-digit scorers with 17 points. Storey made 8 of 17 field goal attempts, including 1-for-2 from 3-point range, and also had four rebounds.
Caroline Soucy (Beverly, Mass.) finished with 15 points and six rebounds. Ivy Gogolin (Hopkinton, Mass.) chipped in with 11 points and six rebounds.
UMBC was led by Te'yjah Oliver (24 points) and Janee'a Summers (16).

- The Bearcats (Vestal, N.Y.) have the conference's second-best overall record at 13-6, but come into Saturday's matchup with a 2-4 America East record.
- Of Binghamton's two conference wins, one of each has happened at home (73-63 vs. Maine) and in the road (61-43 at UMBC).
- The Bearcats are led by the league's top scorer, Kai Moon, averaging 20.5 points per game.
- Binghamton holds a slight lead in the all-time series between the two teams 22-16; UNH ended last season's series taking a one-point victory back to Durham from Vestal, 54-53. The win marked coach Magarity's 136th career victory with the program, moving her into the second place all time.
