- UNH has won all three lifetime matchups against Sacred Heart University.
- New Hampshire raced out to a 4-0 lead and held a 7-1 halftime lead en route to a 14-2 victory last year (Feb. 10, 2018) at Bremner Field; the Wildcats recorded a 35-7 shot advantage. • Box  • Recap

- UNH is led by seventh-year head coach Sarah Albrecht.
- New Hampshire's 26-player roster is comprised of three grad students, four seniors, four juniors, five sophomores and 10 freshmen.
- Senior defender Elise Chandler is the lone captain of the 2019 squad.
- The Wildcats lost their top two goals scorers and starting goalie. Krissy Schafer and Carly Wooter combined to score 74 of the team's 165 goals a year ago, and Kate Clancy started all 17 games.
- UNH does have five returning players who scored double digits in goals, and two of those Wildcats also posted double digits in assists.
- Attacker Teagan Northrup recorded 12 goals and team-high 15 assists in starting all 17 games last season. She leads all returners with those 27 points, and her 23 ground balls also ranks first among returning 'Cats.
- Sophomore midfielder Julia Neyland was named to the 2018 America East All-Rookie Team. She is UNH's top returning goal scorer with 15; she also reached double digits in assists with 10 for a total of 25 points, which is second only to Northrup. Neyland's 18 draw controls is tops among 'Cats from last year, as are her 42 shots and .357 shooting percentage. She started all 15 games in which she played.
- In net, junior Amanda Gottlieb played 301 of a possible 1020 minutes. She stopped 34 of 79 shots on goal for a .430 save percentage and 8.95 GAA.

- Harvard University closed the game on a 5-0 run to pull away for a 14-6 victory against UNH at Wildcat Stadium in the season opener for both teams at Wildcat Stadium. • Recap • Box
- Harvard recorded the edge in shots (37-17), ground balls (18-10), draw controls (15-7) and turnovers (13-19).
- New Hampshire did strike first on a goal by Devan Miller to take a 1-0 lead at 28:45. Harvard tied the score, 1-1, at 26:00 to spark a 4-0 run.

- Senior attacker Mickenzie Larivee scored three goals vs. Harvard to record her 100th career point (92g, 8a); she tallied 97 points in three years at Boston University. Larivee scored her three goals consecutively to trim UNH's deficit from 9-3 to 9-6.
- In her collegiate debut, freshman goalkeeper Issy Torres made 14 saves. She stopped eight shots in the first half and held the Crimson scoreless the last 10:52 of the half to keep the Wildcats within striking distance (7-2 at halftime). Torres held the visitors without a goal for a stretch of more than 12 minutes in the second half, which allowed UNH to trim a 9-2 deficit to 9-6 with 13:51 remaining.
- Midfielder Devan Miller recorded three points (1g, 2a) in her return to action last Saturday. Miller had been sidelined by injury since March 5, 2017.
- Sophomore midfielder Gabby Masseur scored a goal in her collegiate debut; she was sidelined by injury in '18.
- Senior captain and defender Elise Chandler tallied a game-high three caused turnovers.
- Freshman defender Meghan Doyle recorded a team-high four ground balls.
- Freshman midfielder Emily Curtis led the team with three draw controls.

- A total of 10 players (one senior, nine freshmen) made their Wildcat debuts in the season opener.
- The first-time 'Cats in the starting lineup were Doyle, Larivee, Masseur, Torres, Abby Cranney and Delaney Pratt.
- The other Wildcats who made their debuts were Emily Curtis, Taylor Dudek, Lily Powell and Adena Rothbard.

- Grad student Devan Miller incurred a season-ending injury five games into the 2017 season and missed the entire 2018 season. She was on her way to a breakout year in '17, when she tallied eight goals and seven assists for 15 points in five games (all starts).
- In her most recent full season, Miller tallied 10 goals, two assists, 35 draw controls, 12 ground balls and eight caused turnovers in 17 games (all starts).

- Junior Rylee Leonard also missed the entire 2018 season. As a freshman in 2017, she was named to the America East All-Rookie Team. Leonard compiled 10 goals and an assist for 11 points; her other stats included nine GBs, 10 DCs and five CTOs in 17 games played (10 starts).
- Leonard came off the bench in the 2019 season opener vs. Harvard.

- Senior Mickenzie Larivee is completing her collegiate career at UNH after recording 97 points (89 goals, eight assists) in three years at Boston University (2015-17).
- Larivee scored a team-high 44 goals in 2017.
- This is a homecoming for Larivee, who is from Amherst, N.H.

- UNH was selected fourth in the 2019 America East Women's Lacrosse Preseason Poll with 32 points, just behind Binghamton University at 33.
- Stony Brook received 49 points and all seven possible first-place votes; UAlbany tallied 41 points and the other first-place vote.
- UNH was followed by UMBC (28 points), Vermont (20), UMass Lowell (14) and Hartford (7).

- Friday's game vs. UNH is the season opener for Sacred Heart. Last season, SHU had an overall record of 2-14, with a 1-6 record at home. The Pioneers were selected sixth (of eight teams) in the Northeast Conference Preseason Poll.
- Sacred Heart averaged 8.06 goals and 21.44 shots per game last season. The Pioneers have to replace a pair of graduated players who tied for the team lead in points (37) and combined to score 53 of the team's 129 goals.
- Hanna Wise led all Pioneers in goal scoring, with 33 goals and three assists in 16 games, and also leads all returning players with 36 points.
- Cassie Cesario followed close behind, tallying a total of 27 points with 15 goals and 12 assists; she leads all returning players in assists. Additionally, she recorded 44 ground balls, a team high.
- Elizabeth Small was a 2018 NEC All-Conference Second Team selection. Small finished with a team-high 28 caused turnovers; she ranks first among returners in draw controls (35) and second in ground balls (26).
- In goal, Amy Cadle returns for her junior year and is the only goalie with collegiate experience. Last season, she played in two games (50 minutes, 44 seconds) with a 9.46 GAA and .500 save percentage.

- UConn is 0-3 and will play its home opener Sunday vs. New Hampshire.
- The Huskies lost their most recent game, 18-9, to defending national champion and fourth-ranked James Madison at the U.S. Lacrosse Facility on Sunday, Feb. 17.
- UConn has also lost to No. 13 Syracuse (18-6 on Feb. 8) and Fairfield (13-7 on Feb. 13).
- In three games, UConn has scored 22 goals, while opponents have scored 49.
- Opponents have a .533 shooting percentage against the Huskies, while the Huskies themselves have a .338 shooting percentage.
- Sophomore midfielder Sydney Watson leads the team in goals (seven) and points (eight), paired with a .500 shooting percentage. She also had a team-leading 15 draw controls.
- Close behind is junior midfielder Olivia Miles with five points on five goals.
- Freshman attacker Casey O'Grady and freshman midfielder Lia Laprise lead the team in assists with two each.
- Laprise is also tied for the team lead in ground balls with senior midfielder Brooke Jensen and sophomore goalkeeper Annie Carroll at six.
- Carroll has played all three games in net with two starts. She has stopped 21 of 55 shots on goal for a 14.64 GAA and .382 save percentage.
- Junior goalie Grace Beshlian played 40:41 in one game; she has a 22.12 GAA and .250 save percentage.
