Road To Graduation: Danny Tirone

With Commencement approaching on Saturday, May 19, the graduating seniors are getting ready to begin a new chapter of their lives. Senior men's hockey goalie Danny Tirone (Trumbull, Conn.), who is a Finance major, recently talked about his time at UNH.
Tirone set the school's all-time goaltender records for games played (125) and career saves (3,637), while he also owns the Hockey East Tournament record for most career saves (577). Off the ice, Tirone served as the president of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, was a two-time inductee of Chi Alpha Sigma, the National Collegiate Athletic Honor Society and was a three-time member of the Hockey East All-Academic Team. He was also a nominee for the Jim Urquhart UNH Student-Athlete of the Year Award.
