- The No. 24 University of New Hampshire men's soccer team will host the Columbia Lions at Wildcat Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 9 at 7:00 p.m. The game will be on ESPN3. Go here to watch.
- The Wildcats enter the contest with an undefeated record and are one of just six Division I teams that have not allowed a goal. Columbia has started the season with a tie versus UMass (1-1) and a win over Fordham (1-0).
- This will be only the second ever meeting between these two teams. The previous matchup was on Sept. 26, 2015 at Rocco B. Commisso Soccer Stadium, which resulted in a 1-1 tie.
- Columbia has been led by Vana Markarian and John Denis with each scoring one goal. Last year, Columbia went 13-3-1 and won the Ivy League championship.
- After the Columbia game, the Wildcats will host Holy Cross (Sept. 13) and Rhode Island (Sept. 16). Both matches are scheduled for 7:00 p.m. The game versus the Crusaders on Sept. 13 will be on ESPN3.

- UNH is ranked No. 24 in the most recent United Soccer Coaches Poll announced on Tuesday, Sept. 5.

KEEPING THE OPPONENT OFF THE SCOREBOARD
- UNH is one of just six Division I teams to have not allowed a goal so far this season.
- Graduate goalie Andrew Pesci (Windham, N.H.) has recorded all four shutouts this season and now has 11 for his career. He is tied for first in the nation with four shutouts, a 0.00 goals against average and a 1.000 save percentage.
- He is 4-0-0 this year and has an 18-8-0 career record.
FALLBERG LEADS WILDCATS WITH THREE GOALS
- Freshman Linus Fallberg has scored a goal in three of his first four collegiate games.
- His three goals this season lead the team and are 35th nationally.
WILDCATS DEFEAT UMASS
- UNH defeated UMass, 3-0, on Tuesday night at Wildcat Stadium. Pesci made five saves to earn the shutout, while Fallberg, senior Will Rasid (Wilbraham, Mass.) and junior Chris Arling (Windham, N.H.) each scored a goal. Junior Otto Sahlen (Gothenburg, Sweden) posted two assists.
- The Wildcats are now 5-0-1 versus UMass over the last six meetings. The goal for Rasid was the first of his collegiate career. Sahlen tallied his first two points as a Wildcat.
