Started 21 matches and recorded eight shots on goal ... Tied for fourth in assists on the team (two).
BEFORE UNH
Sahlén, a back, comes to UNH after spending the last two seasons at Dean College (NJCAA Division I) in Franklin, Mass. Last season, he helped the Bulldogs compile a 17-2-0 record while anchoring a defense that allowed just five goals all season. Sahlén started nine of 10 games played and recorded an assist in a 1-0 win over Regis College (Oct. 19). As a freshman, he started all 15 games he played and tallied a pair of goals with 11 assists for 15 points. The team went 15-1 that season. Prior to Dean College, Sahlén played for IFK Gothenburg and was a member of the U-19 Swedish Championship team.
