Healy's 17 Points Pace 'Cats in Loss at Dartmouth

HANOVER, N.H. – Senior forward Olivia Healy (Reading, Mass.) led the University of New Hampshire women's basketball team with 17 points and nine rebounds, but the Wildcats came up short and dropped an Education Day game at Dartmouth on Tuesday, 57-49.
The Wildcats fell to 6-3 on the season. They play Manhattan College at home in Lundholm Gymnasium on Saturday at 1 p.m.
Dartmouth improved to 6-1. The Big Green had lost seven straight games to UNH.
The loss snapped a three-game Wildcat winning streak.
NEXT UP
The Wildcats play Manhattan College at home in Lundholm Gymnasium on Saturday at 1 p.m.
They have games at Boston College on Sunday, Dec. 17 at 3 p.m. and at Sacred Heart on Wednesday, Dec. 20 at noon.
UNH closes out the nonconference portion of its schedule with a home game against Cornell on Friday, Dec. 29 at 7 p.m.

HIGHLIGHTS
Healy got her 17 points on eight-for-16 shooting from the floor. She made the only Wildcat three-pointer in the game.
UNH was 1-for-8 from behind the three-point line and 23-for-57 from the field (40.4 percent) overall.
Senior center Carlie Pogue (Cincinnati, Ohio) had 11 points and seven rebounds for UNH. Senior guard Brittni Lai (Covington, N.Y.) had six assists to go with eight points and five rebounds. Senior Kat Fogarty (Westminster, Mass.) had six points and five rebounds.
The Wildcats had a 38-34 edge in rebounds.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Wildcats owned a 12-8 lead at the end of the first period. They ran it out to 27-17 at the half.
Healy had 12 points and five rebounds in the first 20 minutes to lead UNH in both categories.
The Wildcats outrebounded Dartmouth 20-13 in the half.
UNH made 13 of its 28 shots (46.4 percent) in the first half and Dartmouth was 7-for-27 (25.9 percent).
Dartmouth came back with a 20-10 edge in the third period to tie it 37-37 going into the fourth. The Big Green outscored UNH 20-12 in the final quarter.
