Vote for Women’s Lacrosse’s Goal by Krissy Schafer as America East Goal of the Year

BOSTON – The voting is open for the America East Women's Lacrosse Goal of the Year contest and the University of New Hampshire's Krissy Schafer (Longmeadow, Mass.) game-tying goal against Binghamton on April 2 is the UNH play in the voting.
The goal, which came with just six seconds remaining in regulation, tied the game at 8-8 and sent it to sudden-victory overtime. It was Schafer's second goal of the game. The Wildcats ultimately won the game 62 seconds into overtime on a goal by Carly Wooters (White Plains, N.Y.) for the 9-8 victory.
Fans can vote for the play by CLICKING HERE. The voting closes Friday, June 3 at 12 p.m.
