BOSTON – Amy LeBel (Charlton, N.Y.) recorded four caused turnovers and five ground balls -- both career highs -- but the University of New Hampshire women's lacrosse team was defeated 14-7 by Boston University at Nickerson Field on Wednesday afternoon.

GAME RECAP
- In the opening 21 minutes of the game, there where three ties (at 2, 3 and 4) and three lead changes. There were no ties or lead changes after BU took a 5-4 lead at 6:12 of the first half.
- New Hampshire struck early with a goal by Laura McHoul (Westwood, Mass.) 70 seconds into the game and extended the advantage to 2-0 when Krissy Schafer (Longmeadow, Mass.) scored at 24:16.
- BU netted three consecutive goals in less than four minutes to take a 3-2 lead.
- Devon Croke (Norwell, Mass.) scored back-to-back goals at 14:52 and 13:21 to put the Wildcats back in front, 4-3.
- The Terriers closed the half with a 5-0 run the last 10 minutes to take an 8-4 lead into halftime.
- Carly Wooters (White Plains, N.Y.) scored a player-up goal 35 seconds into the second half to lift UNH within 8-5, but the 'Cats would get no closer the rest of the way.
- The Terriers slowly pulled away with a 5-1 run in a 17-minute span that moved the score to 13-6 at 10:21.
UNH NOTEBOOK
- UNH saw its season-high three-game win streak come to an end.
- This was the last non-conference game of the regular season. The Wildcats have three America East conference games remaining.
- UNH is now 6-0 when holding the opposition to single-digit goals and 0-7 when the opponent scores in double figures.
- The 'Cats had previously been undefeated in two Wednesday games.

- McHoul moved into sole possession of No. 4 on the program's career point leaderboard. She entered the game tied for fourth with Jessie Groszkowski but moved ahead of her with a goal, which marked McHoul's 205th career point.
- McHoul has tallied a point every game this season.
- Wooters extended her goal streak to 13 games with her pair of second-half tallies.
- Schafer now has an 11-game goal-scoring streak.
