Wildcats Defeat Hartford on the Road, 2-1

HARTFORD, Conn. – Sophomore forward Chris Arling (Windham, N.H.) notched his 13th and 14th goals of the season as the University of New Hampshire men's soccer team defeated the University of Hartford on the road Saturday night, 2-1.

In just the third minute of the match, Arling got the Wildcats on the board with his 13th goal of the season. Piippo fed a pass into the middle of the box to Arling who then ripped a shot past Hartford keeper Jimmy Slayton.
-Second Half-
In the 47th minute of play, Arling gave the 'Cats a 2-0 advantage with his 14th goal of the season. Wingate set the play up as he sent a touch pass through the defense into the box to Arling who put his chance away.
In the 67th minute of play, Akujobi cut the deficit to one as he scored his first goal of the season. Swift sent a cross into the box that Akujobi headed the ball into the net.
