Wildcats Fall in Double-OT to Harvard, 2-1

DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire men's soccer team fell by a score of 2-1 in an overtime loss to Harvard University on Tuesday, Oct. 25 at Bremner Field.

-Second Half-
Smith got the Crimson on the board in the 59th minute to break the 0-0 tie and put Harvard up 1-0. He goal came when Brown fired a corner kick into the box that Smith connected with and put into the net.
Wingate drew the score level again in the 63rd minute with his fourth goal of the season to bring the score to 1-1. Randriamanantena carried the ball down the right side of the field and passed it to Wingate just inside the box. Wingate took a touch on the ball and fired a shot that beat Harvard keeper Kyle Parks to his right and into the net.
-Double OT-
Harvard secured the win in the 106th minute of play with a goal by Gylling off a corner kick. Smith sent the ball into the box around the six-yard mark that Gylling jumped up and headed into the net.
