DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire women's cross country team travels to Boston College for the Boston Coast-to-Coast meet Friday, Sept. 25 (3 p.m.) against 20 teams from across the country.
The meet features an 8K men's race that begins at 3:30 p.m. following the women's 5K race. Both men's and women's groups are allowed 10 student-athletes per team. At 4:15 p.m. there is a JV combined 5K where teams are allowed unlimited participants.
This meet is the last meet before championship season begins and features at least five nationally ranked programs. This meet is a building block for the remainder of the season where many athletes progress and the team as a whole develops into a stronger unit.
LAST TIME OUT
The Wildcats scored first overall as a team at a dual meet against the University of Maine in Orono. New Hampshire swept the top four times for a combined team score of 16 points.
