BALTIMORE, Md. – Freshman goalkeeper Travis Worra (Lancaster, Pa.) compiled a career-high seven saves in net, but the University of New Hampshire men's soccer team fell to the University of Maryland Baltimore County, 2-0, Friday evening at UMBC Soccer Stadium.
The Wildcats threatened to score first when Ryan McNamara (West Nyack, N.Y.) sent a pass to Charlie Roche (Haverhill, Mass.) upfield on the right side of the box with a one-on-one chance against UMBC goalkeeper Dan Louisignau, but he missed on his shot attempt high with just over 14 minutes remaining in the first half.

UMBC would add to its lead late in the second frame when Pete Caringi played a ball upfield to Andrew Bulls for his third goal of the season. Caringi sent the ball from about midfield to Bulls and he raced all the way to the top of the box, creating a one-on-one chance versus Worra and he found the right side of the net from 16 yards out at 81:51.
