Kevin McGrath, a grad student on the UNH men's track & field team, was honored as the Service Credit Union Student-Athlete of the Week twice during the indoor track & field season and twice more during the outdoor track & field season. The total of four awards matched the highest men's total by any Wildcat in the 2022-23 academic year. Here is a look back at his awards:

Feb. 21
Kevin captured his second consecutive conference indoor high jump title Feb. 19 at the America East Indoor Championships at the TRACK at New Balance in Boston. With a height of 6 feet, 8.25 inches (2.04 meters), Kevin took home the win in the high jump against 13 other competitors. He successfully cleared the heights of 1.96m, 2.01m and 2.04m on his first attempt; only one other competitor advanced to his winning height.

March 6
Kevin added another high jump title to his career March 4 at the 101st IC4A Indoor Championships at the BU Track & Tennis Center. He won the high jump that afternoon against 18 other competitors with a height of 2.09m.

April 3
Kevin recorded another school record-breaking performance in the outdoor high jump March 31 at the Colonial Relays on the campus of William & Mary. He successfully cleared 6-9.50 (2.07m) in the 2023 outdoor season opener to break UNH's record and earn first place vs. seven other participants.

Prior to the 2023 Colonial Relays, Kevin held the program's outdoor high jump record of 6-8.75 (2.05 meters) established at the 2022 America East Outdoor Championships and matched one week later at New Englands.

April 24
Kevin competed in the Virginia Challenge Meet on April 22 and broke his own outdoor high jump school record for the second time this season. Kevin successfully cleared a height of 6-10.25 (2.09m), which placed him second in the event against 15 other participants. Kevin topped his past record of 6-9.5 (2.07m), which he recorded at the 2023 Colonial Relays back in late March.
