Finn Caron recorded four goals for a total of eight points to propel UNH to a pair of victories last week that extended the Wildcats’ win streak to three games. She scored four of the team’s seven goals on eight shots (seven on goal).
In the 3-2 win against 18th-ranked Stanford, Caron scored the second of two UNH goals in a 17-second span that transformed a 1-0 halftime deficit into a 2-1 third-quarter lead. She forced her way pas a defender and then pushed the ball through the Stanford goalie for the go-ahead goal.
In the 4-2 win vs. Brown, Caron finished with a career-high three goals for a personal best of six points. She tied the game, 1-1, in the 12th minute and then gave the Wildcats a 2-1 lead in the 25th minute when she redirected a long entry pass (from midfield) into the cage from 10 yards out. Caron scored off her own rebound in the 54th minute to give UNH a 4-2 lead.
